We teach kids 6 hours of Mathematics a week

We teach kids 4-6 hours of English a week.

We teach kids 4-6 hours of science a week.

But we don't teach them 6 hours about love, sex or healthy intimacy in 12 years of school.

When Germany wins Brazil 7-1 in the world cup we perceive it as a Historical moment. Math and sciences defeats Love and skills for life 6-0 every single week.

We dedicate an average of 0 hours a week to teach our children how to love, how to touch, how to protect themselves, how to communicate face to face and not thru alienating screens, how to be self-confident, how to have a positive body image facing the horrible incarnations of the beauty myth in the media, how to handle porn and other violent images that they're bombarded by, how to express emotions, how to be bold and vulnerable and companioning empathic to others because  that is what love calls you for… that is what being human calls for.

Let's notice the difference between Knowledge and Education. At the moment, Knowledge is beating Education to the bone. 6-0. every week.  Frankly, it is not that complicated to change this ratio. It is simply a decision that needs to be made by every educational system. By every district, every school principal and every PTA.
